Yes. The PlayStation Store currently lists Palworld for PS5. Pocketpair released version 1.0 on July 10, 2026, and included PlayStation 5 among the supported platforms alongside Steam, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and Mac. PS5 multiplayer, PS Plus, and current US store details
The US PlayStation Store page says online play is optional, but a PS Plus subscription is required to play online. It lists support for up to four online players with PS Plus and marks the game PS5 Pro Enhanced. The same US listing advertises a two-hour full-game trial for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. What the old teaser-era headline leaves out
The reveal is a historical announcement rather than a current release forecast. The PS5 version has been available since 2024, with Japan joining the rollout in October of that year, and the game reached version 1.0 in 2026. Pocketpair linked an official announcement trailer, but the announcement record does not provide a transcript or establish additional teaser wording.
Separately, Sony Music Entertainment Japan, Aniplex, and Pocketpair reported that Palworld had reached 25 million players after one month of release in their July 10, 2024 joint-venture announcement. That is a one-month milestone, not a current active-player count. The partners said the venture would develop the IP’s reach and commercial activity outside the interactive game, including licensing and merchandising; that statement does not establish present stock or availability at any particular retailer. The joint announcement’s player figure and its statement on merchandising activity provide that context.
