Palworld is no longer in Early Access: Pocketpair released version 1.0 on July 10, 2026. Steam lists July 9, reflecting a one-day difference consistent with regional release timing. The roadmap Pocketpair announced in September 2025 was a plan for the run-up to 1.0—not a confirmed schedule for updates after launch.
This guide separates that pre-launch plan from what Pocketpair highlighted for 1.0. Current as of October 8, 2026.
Is Palworld still in Early Access?
No. Pocketpair announced and released Palworld version 1.0 on July 10, 2026. Steam lists July 9, 2026 as the release date and January 18, 2024 as the Early Access date; the one-day difference for 1.0 is consistent with regional release timing. What was on Palworld’s pre-1.0 roadmap?
Pocketpair’s September 16, 2025 announcement outlined features and improvements it was working toward for version 1.0 and the period before official release. It also said development would continue as the team prepared for launch. These were announced plans, not proof that every item shipped exactly as described.

What did Pocketpair confirm for version 1.0?
In its June 6, 2026 announcement, Pocketpair set July 10 as the 1.0 release date and described the trailer as showing new Pals, new regions, a new threat, and the long-awaited World Tree. The company’s July announcement then confirmed that version 1.0 had launched. These release notices establish the date and those highlighted elements, but they are not a complete changelog or confirmation that every item from the 2025 roadmap shipped unchanged.

The official announcements cited above cover the pre-release roadmap and the 1.0 launch; they do not establish what updates Pocketpair plans next or when they will arrive.
