For the 1.0-era map, a July 2026 guide gives these coordinates and Pal lists. Treat the lists as guide references rather than a confirmed, exhaustive roster: another guide describes different notable Pals, and later game updates or server settings may affect what you encounter.
Wildlife Sanctuary locations and listed Pals
The coordinates and named Pals below come from AllThingsHow’s guide updated July 20, 2026. Its level and Sphere tiers are recommendations from that guide—not official requirements for entry or capture.

These names are useful targets, not a guarantee that no other Pals spawn there. Palworld Companion’s 1.0 guide gives a different account of notable sanctuary Pals, including Shadowbeak, Grizzbolt, Lyleen, Astegon and Frostallion Noct. Check the island in your current game if you need a specific spawn; neither guide establishes a definitive roster that can be promised across later patches or custom server settings.
What changed with the 1.0 update
Palworld’s July 10, 2026 release changelog says the Wildlife Sanctuaries were reworked from small islands into protected conservation areas established by an ancient civilization. It describes each as having its own scenery, unique Pals, rare materials and powerful bosses. The same notes say defense drones operate inside and players can either avoid their searchlights or fight them. Read the Palworld 1.0 release changelog.

The changelog also records 72 Pals added in 1.0, bringing the roster to 287 at that release. That is a dated launch figure, not a claim about the total after later updates.
How to reach the islands and avoid drone detection
All three sanctuaries are offshore, according to the location guide, so plan a water crossing rather than a land route. It recommends using a flying Pal with a mount skill or a swimming Pal capable of crossing without stamina drain. Those are guide suggestions, not official entry requirements.

- Watch for the drones’ red searchlights while moving around the sanctuary. The official notes confirm the drones and searchlights; the specific evasion advice comes from the guide.
- Choose whether to sneak past detection or fight, as the release notes describe both approaches.
- Bring capture Spheres and combat preparation suited to your target. The level and Sphere tiers in the table are one guide’s advice, not mandatory thresholds.
Palworld Companion’s guide also discusses trespassing, wanted status and drone detection, and claims a 1.0 breeding restriction for some tower-boss Pals. These are secondary-guide claims; verify the precise crime-system behavior, breeding rule or target spawn in your current game before relying on them.
