What is Meowmere in Palworld?
Meowmere is an in-game weapon from Terraria added to Palworld as part of the early Palworld x Terraria collaboration. The Palworld v0.4.11 notice says: “Meowmere, the first "bullet-firing melee weapon" in Palworld, has been added.” The description matters: although often identified as a Terraria sword, Pocketpair classifies the Palworld item as a melee weapon that fires bullets. The notice does not give Meowmere’s crafting recipe, unlock requirements, damage, range or current balance. Those details should not be inferred from the announcement.
When did Feybreak add Meowmere?
Meowmere arrived with Palworld version 0.4.11, the Feybreak update. The Steam-hosted update notice is dated 22 December 2024. Pocketpair’s official update archive lists “Palworld’s Feybreak Update Is Here!” as dated 2024.12.23. These are the dates shown by the two official sources, one calendar day apart.

What else came with the Feybreak update?
Feybreak was a substantial content update, not a patch focused only on Meowmere. Pocketpair’s v0.4.11 announcement describes a new island and additions spanning exploration, progression, combat and base management.
Island, resources and progression
- Feybreak Island: A new area populated by Feybreak Warriors and containing Hexolite Quartz, which the notice says is found only on the island.
- Chromite: An underground resource. Pocketpair says Pals or metal-detecting items can locate it, and lists the Metal Detector as an item that finds Chromite buried underground on Feybreak.
- Level cap: The player level cap was raised to 60.
- Pal systems: Pal expeditions and Pal research were added; the notice describes research rewards as permanent passives and base-productivity bonuses.
Encounters, activities and equipment
- New threats and targets: Predator Pals, bounty NPCs, oil-rig strongholds and the Xenolord raid.
- Oil-rig combat: The update notice specifically names the Attack Chopper among the stronghold content.
- Additional gear and building options: Pocketpair lists Sphere Modules along with a broad collection of new weapons and buildings.
- Modes: Hardcore Mode and Random Pal Mode were included.
The announcement establishes that these features were part of the update, but it does not provide current comparative weapon statistics or a ranking of Meowmere against other Feybreak weapons.

In a Pocketpair announcement dated 26 January 2026, the company said Palworld collaboration content would feature in Terraria’s upcoming Version 1.4.5, “Bigger and Boulder.” That post describes the Terraria side of the collaboration in future-facing terms and does not specify the items in the text shown. The announcement alone does not establish whether that content has since launched. See Pocketpair’s official announcements.
