Promotional material teased or named Mycopunk, a mushroom-themed first-person shooter; a new puzzle game from members of the original Zachtronics team; a new Poncle project unrelated to Vampire Survivors; and Pigface. Studios and partners mentioned ahead of the event included 11 Bit, CCP Games, People Can Fly, Ghost Ship Games and Ubisoft. The pre-show “more than 50 games” figure came from promotional coverage before the event.

After the broadcast, PC Gamer reported that the show contained more than 70 trailers and 15 first reveals. That final figure is not necessarily inconsistent with the earlier “more than 50 games” description: the first was a pre-show estimate of games expected, while the second counted trailers and first reveals shown in the completed program.

What was “The Rig”?
One of the show’s major non-game segments followed PC Gamer editors as they assembled a high-end gaming PC on-air. Called “The Rig,” the system was built with assistance from AMD, GIGABYTE and HAVN and was connected to a giveaway for one viewer.
