Persona 4 Revival is scheduled for February 18, 2027, on Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, and Steam. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled for May 20, 2027. SEGA describes the game as a remake of Persona 4 Golden with enhanced graphics, UI, combat, cutscenes, quality-of-life features, and added content.
When does Persona 4 Revival come out?

Xbox Play Anywhere is also listed by Xbox Wire; it is an Xbox service feature, not another platform. SEGA’s September 10, 2026 Switch 2 announcement added the console to the earlier platform lineup. Older announcements that omit Switch 2 predate that addition.
Is Persona 4 Revival a remake of Persona 4 Golden?
Yes. SEGA identifies Persona 4 Revival as a remake of Persona 4 Golden. The confirmed description names enhanced graphics, UI, combat, and cutscenes, along with quality-of-life features and added content. SEGA has not established exact technical performance by platform or specified every gameplay change, so unannounced mechanics should not be treated as confirmed.

Will Persona 4 Revival have a physical edition?
SEGA lists physical standard editions for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 boxed release is standard edition only. PS5 also has a physical LIMITED BOX, which SEGA says contains:
- The physical base game
- A 48-page artbook
- A Midnight Channel phone pouch
- An exclusive T-shirt
- A Velvet Costumes Set
- A designer box by Shigenori Soejima

What languages are listed?
SEGA lists subtitles in Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Thai. Listed voice languages are Japanese, English, and Chinese; SEGA’s product page says Chinese voice is planned for a patch.

What has SEGA said about the series?
At the June 9, 2025 initial announcement, SEGA reported that the Persona series had sold over 23.5 million copies worldwide. In its June 8, 2026 announcement, SEGA said series sales had surpassed 30 million units worldwide. These are figures reported at different times, not competing estimates for the same reporting date. In the 2025 announcement, P-Studio Director Kazuhisa Wada said: “We are confident that this will be a fresh and surprising product for both newcomers and long-time fans and we look forward to sharing it with you all.”
