What is Persona 6 about?

According to the official Xbox Store description, the game has a new cast and a standalone story set amid school life in modern-day Japan. Its premise mixes relationships and everyday life with rumors, urban legends, and occult incidents. The store description says, “Every numbered entry tells its own complete, standalone story – no prior experience required!” That is publisher copy, not independent confirmation of gameplay details.
