How progression works in Pets Survivors
Pets Survivors is a survival roguelike in which you face enemy waves, defeat monsters for experience, and level up during a run. At each level-up, you can choose to upgrade a weapon, a special ability, or a pet. Those choices shape that run’s build, and different combinations can support different playstyles.
There is also progression between runs: the Steam description says you can purchase permanent upgrades to become stronger over time. It does not publish their costs, specific effects, or a recommended purchase order. Read the official Steam listing.
Think of your “team” as a compatible build
The official description supports choosing and upgrading a pet alongside a weapon and special abilities, then experimenting with synergies. It does not describe a formation made up of multiple pets fighting together. Treat “team building” as making the selected pet, weapon, and abilities work toward a coherent run plan—not as assembling a documented roster.
