When does Phantom Blade Zero come out?
The storefronts show different calendar dates: the US PlayStation Store listing gives October 29, 2026, while Steam labels its release October 28, 2026. These dates should not be collapsed into one worldwide date: the PlayStation page provides a UTC timestamp, but Steam does not show an unlock hour.

Why did the release date change?
In a June 2, 2026 letter on Steam Community, S-GAME CEO Soulframe Liang said the date had moved from September 9 to October 29, 2026, to allow further improvements. Liang wrote: “And precisely because of those expectations, we do not want to release Phantom Blade Zero knowing there is still an opportunity to take it one step further.”

What platforms is Phantom Blade Zero on?
The directly verified storefronts are PlayStation 5 and Steam on PC. PlayStation’s official game page describes the game for PS5 and PC and points to Steam and Epic Games Store, but an Epic listing was not directly confirmed in the storefront pages reviewed. No Xbox or Nintendo Switch release was confirmed there; that does not rule out a later announcement.
What PS5 features are listed?
The PlayStation Store says the PS5 version is PS5 Pro Enhanced and supports DualSense wireless controller vibration and trigger effects. What are the Phantom Blade Zero preorder bonuses?

PlayStation describes Phantom Blade Zero as a dark wuxia action RPG. Steam presents it as a fusion of classic wuxia storytelling and action powered by Unreal Engine 5. You play Soul, a warrior with 66 days left to live who is framed for murdering his master and pursued across the Wulin as he tries to uncover a conspiracy. Steam identifies S-GAME Studio as developer and S-GAME Publishing as publisher.
PlayStation’s August 2026 blog post says Donnie Yen has been a creative consultant since 2023 and performs facial and motion capture for Mó Yuan, Soul’s father.
