When does Phantom Blade Zero come out?
PlayStation’s official US PS5 page lists Phantom Blade Zero for October 29, 2026. Steam’s PC storefront lists October 28, 2026. The official storefronts reviewed show different dates, and neither explains the one-day difference, so the clearest answer is to use the date shown for the platform you plan to play on.

The game’s original release date was September 9, 2026. On June 2, S-GAME announced that it was moving the launch to October 29, describing the change as a 50-day delay.
Why was Phantom Blade Zero delayed?
S-GAME CEO and creator Soulframe Liang said the additional time would go toward improvements and polish. His June 2 letter described upgraded character models and reworked environments, as well as efforts to preserve visual impact without relying on ray tracing. That is the developer’s stated rationale, not an independent assessment of the changes. Liang also cautioned, “A 50-day delay cannot solve everything.” Read S-GAME’s letter.

Why does Steam say October 28 while PlayStation says October 29?
The Steam PC listing displays October 28, 2026, while PlayStation’s PS5 listing displays October 29. The official pages reviewed do not say why the dates differ. A time-zone explanation may seem plausible, but it has not been confirmed by those sources; treat each date as the storefront’s displayed date rather than assuming one is an error.
Is Phantom Blade Zero coming to PC?
Yes. The game is listed on Steam for PC as well as on PlayStation for PS5. These are the platforms established by the official pages reviewed; those pages do not confirm additional platforms. Steam lists Standard and Digital Deluxe editions, but its pricing is not covered by PlayStation’s US prices.

What does the official listing say about the game?
PlayStation’s description frames the story around Soul, who has sixty-six days left to live. Its product listing also advertises more than 30 primary weapons and more than 20 unique Phantom Edges. These are figures from the game’s official product description, not independent measurements. The PS5 page notes PS5 Pro enhancement and support for DualSense vibration and trigger effects.
