Yes. In June 2025, Xbox said “the next Forza” was part of its 2026 lineup, but it did not identify the game as Forza Horizon 6 at the time. Playground Games named the installment in January 2026, set its Xbox Series X|S and PC release for May 19, and launched it on that date. It is now available on those platforms.
What Phil Spencer announced—and what he did not
Xbox Wire’s recap of the June 8, 2025 Xbox Games Showcase said Phil Spencer closed the presentation by announcing a new Fable, “the next Forza,” Gears of War: E-Day, and a returning classic for Xbox’s 2026 anniversary year. The announcement became Forza Horizon 6
Playground Games announced Forza Horizon 6 on January 22, 2026, confirming a Japan setting and a May 19 launch for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Premium Edition early access began May 15. The studio also said a PlayStation 5 version was planned for later in 2026. See the release announcement.

The game launched on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 19, 2026. Cross-play, cross-save, and steering wheels
