Turns, tricks, and the goal
According to the publisher’s FAQ, a trick is three matching cards. On a turn, a player can take one action, such as playing a trick or special card, discarding, or passing. The goal is to be the first player to play enough tricks to total exactly 11 points—not simply to reach or exceed 11.
Do you need to know pickleball?
No. The publisher says prior experience with real pickleball is not needed. The game introduces terms such as dink, lob, smash, ATP, and drop shot, as well as kitchen violation, poaching, and Ernes. Learning the vocabulary may prompt players to try the sport, but playing pickleball is not a prerequisite.

Player count and playing time
The product page advertises two to four players, ages 8 and up, and a 15-minute game. The FAQ gives a different estimate: a typical round lasts less than 10 minutes. These are separate publisher-published estimates, not a single guaranteed duration.
