The Pip-Boy 3000 Mk V – Overseer’s Edition is a screen-inspired, gold-finish replica of the device worn by Hank in Season 2 of the Fallout television series. Bethesda Gear lists metal-and-ABS construction, animated screens, FM radio, a rechargeable battery, and several display and assembly extras. Those specifications make it an appealing collector piece on paper, but the available product information does not establish how well it works or wears in everyday use.
What is the Pip-Boy 3000 Mk V Overseer’s Edition?
Bethesda Gear describes the Mk V as a 1:1 replica of the Overseer’s Pip-Boy from the Fallout television series, finished in the pristine gold associated with Hank in Season 2. The company says it recreated the design using references to the screen-used prop, including original paint samples. Bethesda Gear’s product listing is the source for these design details; they are manufacturer descriptions, not an independent assessment of the replica’s accuracy.
This is not the same collectible as the game-based Pip-Boy 3000 replica associated with Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. Bethesda’s separate listing identifies that product as made by The Wand Company and describes a different design and package. See Bethesda’s listing for the game-based replica before comparing versions.

Is it a must-have for Fallout collectors?
It has a clear appeal for fans who want the television series’ gold Overseer design, rather than a replica of a game-era Pip-Boy. The official feature list and included display pieces also give collectors more to consider than the wearable prop alone. Whether the package is worth buying depends on the live price and on how much value you place on the licensed design and extras.
There is not enough verified performance evidence here to call it a must-have on functional grounds. No firsthand or independent findings establish comfort, adjustability, display stability, finish durability, radio usability, or battery life. Bethesda’s promotional description calls it “wearable, fully functional, and exhibition-grade displayable”; that is seller copy, not a tested verdict.
