The fast-paced platformer stars Peppino Spaghetti, who sets out to destroy the titular tower and save his restaurant. Its later physical editions were announced separately and are not part of that surprise digital release.
When did Pizza Tower come to Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo’s US eShop listing gives August 27, 2024, as the release date and identifies the Switch edition as digital. Tour De Pizza is listed as the publisher. This was a same-day digital launch, not a new October 2026 release. Nintendo’s official US product listing is the source for the release date and storefront details.

What kind of game is Pizza Tower?
Nintendo’s publisher-provided description calls Pizza Tower “a fast paced 2D platformer, with an emphasis on movement, exploration and score attack.” You play as Peppino Spaghetti, who ventures into the tower to destroy it and save his restaurant. The listing describes up to five floors to explore, with the option to chase high scores or move through the game at your own pace; Gustavo is playable in some parts.

How the later physical editions differ
The physical release followed the digital Switch launch. In a May 6, 2025 announcement, Tour De Pizza described a standard physical edition and a Collector’s Edition preorder. The Collector’s Edition included everything in the standard physical edition, plus a Peppino kitchen timer, an art booklet, and more. The developer gave October 10, 2025 as the expected shipping date at the time; that was a historical estimate, not a current delivery date. Tour De Pizza’s official Steam announcements cover the physical-edition news. The announcement does not establish whether either edition is currently in stock, so check a retailer for current availability and price.
