Which game released in September 2026 was your favorite—and which one would you recommend to a friend? PlayStation Blog’s Players’ Choice poll asks you to pick one new release from the month. The ballot is a reader poll, not an official buying recommendation or an objective ranking.
What is the September 2026 Players’ Choice poll?
PlayStation Blog published the poll on October 5, 2026. It asks readers to vote for the best new game released in September 2026, with the choice based on personal preference: which one release you would recommend to a friend. Read the official PlayStation Blog poll post.

Who qualifies, and how is the ballot assembled?
Rereleases are excluded. PlayStation Blog says ambitious, larger-scale remakes can qualify, citing Resident Evil 4 (2023) and Final Fantasy VII Remake as examples. The blog’s editorial team gathers the month’s most noteworthy releases to seed the poll; the post does not describe a more detailed selection formula.
Which games are on the ballot?
The English post highlights Marvel’s Wolverine, Control Resonant, Dune: Awakening, and NBA 2K27 as examples of major September releases, not as the complete ballot. The official German-language poll page shows a broader set of options, including Aniimo, BrokenLore: Don’t Lie, Control Resonant, Dune: Awakening, EA Sports FC 27, Endless Legend 2, Keeper, Marvel’s Wolverine, NBA 2K27, and Silent Hill: Townfall. Check the official poll for its full, current ballot.

How to choose your vote
There is no stated scoring system or required comparison rubric. Choose the eligible release you personally liked most—or, more specifically, the one you would genuinely tell a friend to play. The question is about your recommendation, not which game is objectively best or which one you should buy.
When will the winner be announced?
PlayStation Blog says it tallies votes after a poll closes and announces the winner on its social channels and PlayStation.Blog. The October 5 post does not state a closing date or provide a September winner or vote totals, so the result is not established there.
