What did Premium members get from Star Ocean?
The main announcement’s Premium Classics section also included three older Star Ocean titles: Star Ocean First Departure R, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time and Star Ocean: The Last Hope – 4K & FHD Remaster. These classics were separate from the four Game Catalog entries above.
Did the plan names differ by region?
Yes. Sony’s main announcement labels the Game Catalog section “PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium” and its Classics section Premium. Sony’s Southeast Asia post instead uses “Extra and Deluxe,” with Deluxe for its classics section. Those are region-specific labels; the announcements do not establish that every region has identical plan naming or an identical catalog. The main announcement and Sony’s Southeast Asia announcement show the respective labels.

The September 2023 announcement only establishes that the titles were included in that lineup at that time. PlayStation Plus catalog availability can change over time and vary by country or region and plan. Check the current PlayStation Plus catalog for your account’s region before assuming any of these games are available now; Sony states that availability varies in its September 2026 PlayStation Plus notice.

The September 2023 story concerns Game Catalog additions, not the separate monthly games offering. For date context, Sony’s September 2026 Game Catalog announcement covers a different lineup, while its October 2026 Monthly Games announcement lists F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. These announcements are not updates to the September 2023 catalog list.
