PlayStation has revealed a limited-edition PS5 DualSense controller themed around 007 First Light. Its gold-toned finish and Bond-inspired barrel motif distinguish it from the standard controller. PlayStation announced recommended prices of $84.99 in the US, €84.99 in Europe and £74.99 in the UK, with availability in limited quantities.
What does the 007 First Light PS5 controller look like?
The controller has a golden sheen, with a radiant gun-barrel design framing Bond’s codename and weapon on the touchpad. PlayStation describes the DualSense wireless controller – 007 First Light Limited Edition as a limited-quantity release.
It is a themed version of the PS5 DualSense, not a new console or a separate controller platform.
How much does the limited-edition DualSense cost?
PlayStation’s April 8, 2026 announcement listed these recommended retail prices:

When does it go on sale?
PlayStation announced pre-orders would open on April 17, 2026, at specified local times through PlayStation Direct in the United States and certain European markets, with select retailers also participating. The announced launch date was May 27, 2026. Those dates have passed; the announcement does not establish current stock or prices.

Is the 007 First Light game included?
No game bundle is specified in PlayStation’s controller announcement. The controller and 007 First Light were announced to launch alongside each other, but they should be treated as separate products unless a retailer listing explicitly says otherwise.
PlayStation describes 007 First Light as a standalone, re-imagined origin story starring a young James Bond. If you are comparing listings, check that the product is the exact limited-edition DualSense model, whether it is new or resale, the currency and total price, shipping and return terms, and whether any game or accessory is expressly included.
