Here’s what Sony announced and what each trailer showed.

Release dates announced at the June 2025 State of Play
The event confirmed dates for ten games, spanning July 2025 through February 2026. Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles was announced for both PS5 and PS4; the other dated game announcements below were for PS5.

New looks at games already on the radar
Astro Bot
Sony announced five new Vicious Void Galaxy levels and Special Bots for summer 2025. It also revealed an updated smiley version of the Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller, then planned for later in 2025.

Ghost of Yōtei
A dedicated State of Play episode was announced for July 2025, promising an extended look at exploration and combat.
Pragmata
Capcom showed gameplay with protagonists Hugh and Diana, who players control together. The game was announced for PS5 in 2026.
Nioh 3
Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced this PS5 action RPG, which lets players switch between Samurai and Ninja combat styles. A limited-time demo was also announced for PlayStation Store.

New game announcements and other trailers
Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement
The 2.5D side-scrolling action RPG sequel follows two switchable heroes, Leo and Alex, in the Ethereal Castle. Sony said it was coming to PS5 the following year.
Hirogami
This origami-inspired 3D action platformer was announced for PS5 on September 3, 2025. Folding and taking animal forms are central to how its protagonist moves through the game.
007 First Light
IO Interactive presented a third-person action-adventure and a new origin story for James Bond, planned for PS5 the following year.

Lumines Arise
The puzzle series returns with 30 stages and a new Burst mechanic. Sony announced PS5 support, optional PS VR2 compatibility and a launch later in 2025.
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls
PlayStation Studios, Arc System Works and Marvel Games are developing this tag-team fighting game. Sony described controls intended to be approachable while retaining depth for competitive play.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection
Digital Eclipse and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced a collection for PS4 and PS5 featuring games from the series’ early years alongside interactive documentaries.

Romeo is a Dead Man
Grasshopper Manufacture announced this PS5 action title for the following year. Its FBI special agent protagonist, Dead Man, fights with guns, swords and enemy powers.
Sea of Remnants
This PS5 oceanic RPG centers on puppetfolk, a specialized crew, ship upgrades and the evolving pirate city Orbtopia. Sony did not give a release date in the recap.
Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow
The stealth series was reimagined for PlayStation VR2, with VR mechanics for stealth and evasion. Sony announced a launch window of later in 2025.

PlayStation Plus catalog announcements
Sony announced additions across Game Catalog and the Premium Classics range. These are the dates and subscription categories stated at the event, not confirmation of what is available now.

Hardware: a themed DualSense and Project Defiant
The hardware announcements served different purposes: one was a themed version of a standard-style gamepad, while the other was a fight stick with stated wireless and wired connection options.
