PlayStation updated its announcement on July 27 to add games and refresh the promotion. Some existing offers were replaced, and certain individual deals ended before the overall sale did. The event’s end date therefore did not guarantee that every offer lasted until August 12. Sony’s announcement has the event details.
What did “up to 75% off” mean?
Sony Interactive Entertainment advertised savings of up to 75% across multiple PlayStation games in 2026. That figure was the maximum advertised discount, not a universal reduction: individual games had their own prices and discount levels. As Peter Boda, Promotions Delivery Manager, put it, “For a limited time*, save up to 75% across multiple PlayStation games.”

- Use gift card funds to contribute towards PlayStationPlus memberships.
What was included in the sale?
PlayStation described the promotion as covering digital PS5 games, add-ons and more on PlayStation Store. The announcement directed players to the store to view offers for their region. The available official pages do not provide a complete, lasting list of every discounted item or its price.
- Prices and availability depended on the PlayStation Store region and each individual listing.
- Some offers ended before the overall event closed.
- The Spanish regional announcement described thousands of titles, but that wording should not be taken as a count for every market or proof that regional terms were identical. PlayStation Blog en español.
Can you still get these sale prices?
No—not as part of the 2026 Summer Sale, which ended August 12. A particular game may have a different offer now, but the 2026 promotion does not establish current prices or availability. Check that game’s current listing in your regional PlayStation Store before buying.
