The Pokémon Company has revealed two new Abilities for Pokémon Champions: Mega Meganium’s Mega Sol makes its moves work as though harsh sunlight were active, while Mega Feraligatr’s Dragonize changes Normal-type moves into Dragon-type moves and boosts their power by 20%.
What do Mega Meganium’s and Mega Feraligatr’s Abilities do?
The official descriptions give the two Abilities different effects: Mega Sol applies a sunlight-like effect to Mega Meganium’s moves, while Dragonize converts a particular category of Mega Feraligatr’s moves and increases their power.

Mega Sol: a sunlight-like effect for moves
Mega Sol gives Mega Meganium’s moves the same effect they would have under harsh sunlight. The announcement describes the effect on its moves; it does not say that Mega Sol sets the battle’s weather.
Dragonize: type conversion plus a power increase
Dragonize turns Mega Feraligatr’s Normal-type moves into Dragon-type moves and increases their power by 20%, according to the official description. The boost is part of the stated Ability effect for moves that undergo this conversion.
