What does the Pokémon Champions Starter Pack add?
Nintendo lists the Pokémon Champions + Starter Pack as a paid purchase for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch through Nintendo eShop and Nintendo Store. The bundle adds storage for 50 additional Pokémon and includes:
- 30 Teammate Tickets
- 50 Training Tickets
- The “Battle! (Trainer Battle)” song from Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
Nintendo’s listing describes those 50 spaces as additional storage. It does not state the game’s free starting capacity, so the bundle’s extra slots cannot be used to verify a 30-Pokémon base limit. Nintendo’s Starter Pack listing also does not establish whether the pack is purchasable on mobile.
Is the free storage limit 30 Pokémon?
That specific Champions limit is not established by the official product information cited here. The official Pokémon Champions site describes the game as free-to-start, but does not give a starting storage total. Nintendo’s Starter Pack listing confirms 50 added spaces without stating the base total or how the cap works.

So, treat “30 Pokémon” as an unverified claim when it refers to Champions. The official sources also do not say whether storage can be expanded beyond the Starter Pack or what happens when a roster is full.
Why does Pokémon HOME have a 30-Pokémon figure?
Pokémon HOME has its own storage plans, separate from Pokémon Champions. Nintendo Support’s comparison lists capacity for deposited Pokémon as follows:

How do Pokémon get into Champions?
The official Pokémon Champions site describes a battle-focused game where players can recruit Pokémon in-game and bring some past partners through Pokémon HOME. Nintendo UK lists Ranked, Casual, and Private Battles, and says players can earn Victory Points through ranked battles and other activities, then use them to recruit and train Pokémon. Its roster description also mentions daily lineups without VP, trial recruitment, permanent recruitment with VP, or tickets. These recruitment routes explain how players assemble a team; they do not specify the game’s total storage capacity.

If you want the bundle’s 50 extra Pokémon spaces and its included tickets and battle song, Nintendo confirms those are part of the paid Starter Pack. But the available official details do not establish the free capacity, so they are not enough to calculate the game’s resulting total storage or determine whether the add-on is necessary for your roster. Pokémon HOME Premium is not an alternative way to increase Champions storage.
