Amazon’s October 2026 sale is Prime Big Deal Days, running October 6–7—not the summer Prime Day event. Amazon includes toys and holiday gifting among the event’s broad categories, but that does not confirm a discount on any particular Pokémon product. No specific October Amazon Pokémon offer has been verified here, so check each live listing before treating an item as a deal.
What Pokémon gifts should you look for?
Two gift formats make sense to compare: a character plush for someone who wants a Pokémon keepsake, and a Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) set for someone who enjoys collecting or playing. Tom’s Guide covered Pokémon toys, video games and TCG sets as gift ideas during the summer Prime Day season, but that June 23, 2026 article does not establish October availability or discounts.
Pikachu plush
Pokémon Center’s October 2026 estimated preorder release information lists a Pikachu Plush. That confirms a product lead, not an Amazon listing or an active Prime Big Deal Days offer. Pokémon Center cautions that estimated shipping dates may change. See Pokémon Center’s estimated preorder release dates.
Pokémon TCG gift set
A boxed TCG set may suit a recipient more interested in cards than a plush. Check the exact set name and contents on the listing: “Pokémon TCG gift set” can refer to different products, and the broad category alone does not tell you what is included or whether it is discounted.

How to tell whether a Pokémon listing is a real deal
Amazon says Prime Big Deal Days deals are for Prime members and are subject to availability. Its event announcement includes toys and holiday gifting as broad categories; it does not name a Pokémon product or establish its price or discount. Check Amazon’s announcement for the October 6–7 event details.

- Exact item: Confirm the character, product name and, for a TCG set, what the box contains.
- Seller and condition: Check who sells and ships it and whether it is new or otherwise described.
- Price and savings basis: Compare the current price with a valid reference price; a crossed-out price alone does not show what you will actually save.
- Prime eligibility and stock: Verify the deal’s eligibility and availability on that specific listing, since event-wide terms do not guarantee either for an individual item.
- Delivery and returns: Check the arrival estimate against your gifting date, along with the listing’s return terms.
What is confirmed—and what is not
As of October 7, 2026, Amazon identifies the current October sale as Prime Big Deal Days, scheduled for October 6–7. The event announcement establishes its dates and broad categories, while Pokémon Center’s release page identifies a Pikachu plush preorder listing. Neither source confirms that the plush—or any Pokémon plush or TCG set—is available on Amazon at a reduced price or eligible for a Prime event deal. For context on gift formats, Tom’s Guide’s summer Prime Day gift coverage is historical, not evidence of October offers.
