Final Strike: GO Battle Week ran from May 21 to May 27, 2025, and has ended. Its main free bonus was an extra free Raid Pass each day for players who completed the event’s three-part Timed Research. The event also offered limited-time evolution moves, featured Pokémon including Urshifu, and optional paid research that is no longer available.
When did Final Strike: GO Battle Week run?
The event ran from Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. until Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time, according to Leek Duck’s event listing. The free and Premium Timed Research expired at the end of the event, so tasks had to be completed and rewards claimed by 8:00 p.m. on May 27.
It was presented as the finale of Pokémon Go’s Might and Mastery season. The event listing also identified Single Strike Style and Rapid Strike Style Urshifu as event additions; see Serebii’s event listing.
How did the free extra Raid Pass work?
Complete the free, three-stage Timed Research to unlock one additional free Raid Pass per day for the remainder of the event, as reported by Leek Duck. This was an event-period bonus, not a pass that remains claimable now.

What the free research involved
The listed tasks included powering up and evolving Fighting-, Water-, and Dark-type Pokémon, catching 30 Pokémon, winning three raids, and winning three Max Battles. Rewards across the stages included XP, Stardust, Rare Candy, and encounters with Meditite, Mareanie, and Stunky. The precise reward depended on the stage; the event listing describes the full task and reward sequence.
Leek Duck also reported increased shiny encounter chances for Meditite, Stunky, and Mareanie, but did not provide a numeric rate. That listing should not be read as a guaranteed shiny encounter or a quantified odds increase.
