The 2026 Pokémon World Championships Pokémon GO coverage began at 9:00 a.m. PDT each day, but that was the broadcast start—not the time the Worlds Tee code appeared. Drops required 30, 45, or 60 minutes of eligible viewing, depending on the reward. The avatar code was SANFRANCISCO2026; the campaign rewards expired September 11, 2026, at 20:00 UTC, so they are no longer available.
2026 Pokémon GO Worlds Twitch Drop times and rewards
Pokémon’s event guide listed watch-time goals rather than exact clock times for individual rewards. Coverage began at 9:00 a.m. PDT each day. The table distinguishes those viewing thresholds from the broadcast schedule.

When did the Worlds Tee code appear?
The sources identify the broadcast as where the code was shared, but do not give the exact on-air minute. The 9:00 a.m. PDT time is the start of daily coverage; it should not be treated as the code’s reveal time.

How Twitch Drops and code redemption worked
A Twitch Drop required linked accounts and two separate claiming steps. Pokémon Support’s instructions were:
- Link your Pokémon Trainer Central and Twitch accounts.
- Watch an eligible stream with Drops enabled until the reward’s goal is met. Check progress in Twitch’s Drops Inventory.
- Claim the Drop in Twitch after reaching its viewing goal.
- Return to Pokémon Trainer Central, open View Inventory, and select Show Code.
- Redeem that code for Pokémon GO through the game’s offer-redemption page.
Claiming the Drop on Twitch alone did not finish the process; the code still had to be retrieved and redeemed. The Worlds Tee was different: it was a broadcast-shared promo code rather than a Twitch Drop with a watch-time goal.

Why viewing progress might not count
- Check account linking: Confirm that the Pokémon Trainer Central account connected to Twitch is the account used to earn the Drop.
- Keep the stream active: Pokémon Support says a muted or minimized stream can pause progress.
- Claim before the campaign ends: Support says progress can accumulate across separate sessions during a campaign, but is lost when the campaign ends. A Drop must be claimed within 24 hours after the campaign ends or it disappears.
As Pokémon Support puts it, “You don’t have to watch Twitch streams consecutively to earn rewards!” That flexibility applied during the campaign; it did not extend rewards past the campaign deadline. See Pokémon Support’s Twitch Drops FAQ.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Are the 2026 Pokémon GO Worlds codes still valid?
No. Leek Duck reported that the Pokémon GO livestream, co-stream, and PokémonXP rewards expired Friday, September 11, 2026, at 20:00 UTC. That deadline has passed. The code and Drops described here are not currently claimable.
