In the U.S., no single streaming subscription carries every NFL game live. The right option depends on your location, the game’s broadcast window, and whether you want to watch live or catch up later: local and national broadcasts cover many live games, NFL+ offers selected live games on phones and tablets, NFL+ Premium adds replays, and Sunday Ticket is the NFL-identified route to out-of-market Sunday afternoon games.
How can you watch NFL games live?
Start with the game and your location. NFL games are split among local broadcasters and national outlets, so a service that carries one window may not carry another. NFL support also warns that availability can depend on broadcast rights and blackout restrictions.

These assignments describe the NFL’s viewing guidance; dates, matchups, and local availability can change. Some games are carried on a television network but may require a sign-in through a supported cable or streaming-TV provider when watched in that network’s connected-TV app or on NFL.com. A standalone NFL+ subscription does not give you every game on a television.
What NFL+ includes—and what it does not
NFL+ is most useful if you want selected live games on a phone or tablet, plus NFL audio and library programming. NFL support describes its live regular-season and postseason access as local and primetime games on those mobile devices, and also lists live out-of-market preseason games. NFL+ is available only in the United States and is unavailable in U.S. territories.

NFL+ Premium is the NFL support material’s on-demand option for full-game and other replay formats. That replay access is separate from live access: it does not turn NFL+ into a live package for every Sunday afternoon game.

NFL support listed NFL+ at $6.99 per month or $49.99 per year, and NFL+ Premium at $14.99 per month or $99.99 per season, on April 28, 2026. These are dated prices, and applicable taxes may apply; check the current NFL offer before subscribing.

How to watch out-of-market Sunday afternoon games
If you want Sunday afternoon games outside your designated broadcast region, the NFL identifies Sunday Ticket as the access path. It is offered through YouTube and YouTube TV, and is separate from both NFL+ and NFL+ Premium. An NFL+ subscription alone does not include Sunday Ticket.
Sunday Ticket is specifically relevant when you are following a team whose Sunday afternoon game is outside your local broadcast region. Check YouTube or YouTube TV for current package terms and availability before purchasing; the NFL support guidance identifies the service and distribution platforms but does not establish current package terms here.

How to watch NFL games on demand
For replays, NFL+ Premium offers full-game, condensed-game, and All-22 coaches-film versions, according to NFL support. NFL+ also includes NFL library programming, but that is not the same as a subscription to watch every live game. For a live game, use the outlet assigned to that matchup or the appropriate local, provider, or Sunday Ticket route.
How to watch NFL games outside the U.S.
NFL support directs viewers outside the United States to NFL Game Pass International on DAZN. Package details and rights vary by country, so check DAZN’s guide for your country to see what is included. NFL+ is not an alternative for viewers in U.S. territories, where NFL support says it is unavailable.
How to find the channel or service for a specific game
- Open the NFL’s Ways to Watch guide and enter your ZIP code.
- Select the TV, cable, over-the-air, or streaming services you already have. The guide lists options including NFL+, Sunday Ticket, FOX One, Peacock, Paramount+, ESPN, Amazon Prime, and Netflix.
- Find the matchup and check the displayed outlet for your location. Confirm that your provider’s current channel lineup or app includes it.
- Check again close to game day. The NFL guide says flex-scheduled games are tentative, and some Week 17 and Week 18 slots are assigned later.
An over-the-air antenna may receive local CBS or FOX broadcasts where the stations and reception are available, but reception varies by location; it is not a way to receive out-of-market games. If you are watching through a network app or NFL.com, check whether the game requires supported cable or streaming-TV provider sign-in.
