It describes the Ralts holding Gardevoirite as a general early-purchase bonus, available with physical and digital copies. That promotion has ended: the claim deadline was February 28, 2026.
What was the verified bonus?
The Pokémon Company International announced that eligible early purchasers could receive a Ralts holding Gardevoirite in either the standard game or Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, whether purchased physically or digitally. The Ralts was distributed through the game’s Mystery Gift feature using “Get via Internet,” and had to be claimed by February 28, 2026. The offer was not presented as GameStop-exclusive. The official bonus announcement gives the offer terms.
GameStop’s product listing also describes the Ralts as an Early Purchase Bonus for physical and digital versions, and its listing data marks “GameStop Exclusive” as false. This supports the conclusion that the listed Ralts reward was not exclusive to GameStop; it does not rule out every possible local or separately advertised promotion. GameStop’s listing is the source for its product-specific details.
Was there another digital bonus?
Yes. The Pokémon Company International also offered a serial code for 100 Poké Balls to customers who purchased and downloaded a digital version by February 28, 2026. The code had to be redeemed by March 10, 2026. Eligible purchases included download cards or download codes bought through a shop or online retailer. Both deadlines have passed, so this is not a current offer. The official bonus announcement states that an internet connection and Nintendo Account were required; it also said Mystery Gift access took about one hour of play.

#1 Best Overall
- Your journey will take you to all manner of sights in the streets arrayed around Prism Tower, including shops, restaurants, and places called wild zones—where Pokémon roam free.
- As you catch, train, and battle Pokémon, there will be plenty of people to meet too—like AZ, the enigmatic owner of Hotel Z.
Why might preorder gifts differ by retailer?
Retailers can advertise their own physical gifts separately from a game’s publisher-wide early-purchase reward. For example, Pokémon Center announced a randomly selected Pokémon Gallery Pin featuring Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile, while supplies lasted. That was a Pokémon Center gift, not evidence of a GameStop bonus. Pokémon Center’s announcement describes that promotion.
Did the bonus differ between Switch and Switch 2?
The Ralts offer applied to both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions, including the standard game and Switch 2 Edition. The games were scheduled to release on October 16, 2025. GameStop’s listing also referenced a Switch 2 upgrade pack, but the available offer details do not establish current pricing, stock, or any active retailer promotion. Check a retailer’s current product page for present-day availability rather than relying on the expired preorder terms.

For claiming instructions, GameStop’s listing says to open Link Play after unlocking the Rewards feature in Mable’s Research; it estimated roughly one to one-and-a-half hours of play before Link Play becomes available. It also stated that an internet connection and Nintendo Account were needed, but Nintendo Switch Online was not required for this reward.
