Mega Dragonite was officially revealed for Pokémon Legends: Z-A in The Pokémon Company’s July 22, 2025 Pokémon Presents recap. Its profile describes a Dragon/Flying-type Pokémon with Dragonair-like details, including a pearl on its tail and wings on its head that serve as feelers.
What does Mega Dragonite look like?
The official Mega Dragonite profile highlights features reminiscent of Dragonair: a pearl on its tail and wings on its head that act as feelers. The profile also says Mega Evolution lets Dragonite fly faster and farther. That is character-profile description, not a published speed measurement or battle statistic.
The profile gives Mega Dragonite’s height as 2.2 m and its weight as 290 kg. Its flavor text says, “For Mega Dragonite, ending a Pokémon match quickly is an act of kindness toward its opponent.” This is official character copy, not a quotation attributed to a named speaker.
What type is Mega Dragonite?
Mega Dragonite is listed as Dragon/Flying. The profile establishes its type, appearance and flavor text, but does not provide a full moveset, competitive stats or a comparison of its strength against other Mega-Evolved Pokémon.
