How to unlock Side Mission 144
Reach Hyperspace Mission 4, then exit Hotel Z. That is the reported unlock condition for “Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery,” a Mega Dimension DLC side mission. Game8’s walkthrough, updated January 7, 2026, lists the mission within the DLC’s Hyperspace progression.

Where to start the mission
Find Sasse beside the Magenta Plaza Pokémon Center, facing Wild Zone 7, and speak with her to begin. The route then leads through the nearby courtyard to a rooftop bench.
Where is the bench for Side Mission 144?
- From Sasse, head south through the archway into the courtyard.
- Climb the ladder on the right to reach the rooftop.
- Look for two benches separated by planters. Interact with the bench on the right; this calls Sasse over.
The right-hand bench is the important choice. Game8 and Followchain’s walkthrough agree on the rooftop bench and the next, higher rooftop photo location.

Where do I take the photo of Sasse?
- From the bench, head south and jump to the higher roof platform.
- Climb the ladder to reach the upper rooftop section.
- Stand in the opening between the two far-right hedges, facing Sasse.
- Press A at that location to take the photo and advance the mission.
You do not need to launch the Rotom Phone camera. If the interaction does not trigger, check that you are in the gap between the far-right hedges and facing Sasse rather than standing elsewhere on the roof.
