It has 15 reported regular Pokémon, while the Alpha Pokémon beneath the ruined tower can vary as the area refreshes. The available item information is incomplete, so this guide distinguishes listed Berry locations from a confirmed full collectible checklist.
How do you unlock Wild Zone 20?
Complete the main story and roll the credits. PowerPyx identifies the specific progression point as Main Mission 38, “The Future of Lumiose City.” The zone occupies the central part of Lumiose City around Centrico Plaza and Prism Tower, according to Nintendo Life and PowerPyx.

Which Pokémon are in Wild Zone 20?
Two guides list the same 15 regular species. Their habitat notes are useful search areas rather than guarantees that a Pokémon will always be at one exact point. Nintendo Life reports that these regular encounters are available at any time of day.
| Pokémon | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Gardevoir | Grass in front of Prism Tower |
| Lucario | Paths in front of the tower |
| Roserade | Grass in front of the tower |
| Malamar | Grass near the water in front of the tower |
| Dragalge | Around the water |
| Bulbasaur | Grass in front of the tower |
| Charmander | Dirt area |
| Squirtle | Near the water |
| Chikorita | Grass by the tower |
| Tepig | Dirt area |
| Totodile | Near the water |
| Aggron | East side of the dirt area, among destroyed concrete |
| Garbodor | North side of the dirt area |
| Scrafty | North side of the dirt area, among destroyed concrete |
| Hippowdon | Near the entrance in the dirt area |
What level should you be?
Nintendo Life recommends level 55 for the zone. The Game Haus reports regular encounters in the level 53–56 range; treat that as a guide-reported range, not a guarantee for every individual spawn. The roster and level details are covered by Nintendo Life and The Game Haus.

Where can Alpha Pokémon spawn?
Alpha encounters are separate from the regular 15-species list. Guides describe a rotating variety of high-level Alpha Pokémon beneath the Prism Tower ruins; the available encounters change when the area refreshes, according to PowerPyx. There is no fixed list that guarantees a particular Alpha will appear, so check the ruins again after refreshing the area if the Pokémon you want is absent.
Which items can you find in Wild Zone 20?
Serebii associates these seven Berries with Wild Zone 20 as one of their locations:
Rank #2
- Your journey will take you to all manner of sights in the streets arrayed around Prism Tower, including shops, restaurants, and places called wild zones—where Pokémon roam free.
- As you catch, train, and battle Pokémon, there will be plenty of people to meet too—like AZ, the enigmatic owner of Hotel Z.
- Charti Berry
- Cheri Berry
- Chesto Berry
- Chilan Berry
- Chople Berry
- Rindo Berry
- Shuca Berry
That database listing does not establish a complete checklist of ground items, TMs, or other collectibles in the zone. The Game Haus item section still described items as unknown in its October 16, 2025 update, so the Berry entries should not be treated as an exhaustive inventory.

Wild Zone 20 combines ordinary habitat-based encounters around the tower, water, and dirt-and-concrete sections with changing Alpha encounters under the ruins. Nintendo describes Pokémon Legends: Z-A as introducing real-time battles in which Trainers and Pokémon can both move, with Pokémon using moves when directed; see Nintendo’s game page. For the game’s broader catch-and-battle loop, The Pokémon Company’s gameplay page explains catching by aiming and throwing a Poké Ball, and preparing by training and stocking battle items during the day for the night-time Z-A Royale.
