In Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, look for wild Eevee near Cortondo in South Province or Medali in West Province. Eevee can evolve into eight different Pokémon: five evolutions use a specific stone, while Espeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon require friendship and a level-up under different conditions.
Where to find Eevee in Scarlet and Violet
Eevee is an uncommon wild encounter. Search the fields near Cortondo and the area outside Medali. In the game’s area names, the corresponding locations are South Province Area Two and West Province Area Three; these locations are listed for both versions in Serebii’s Scarlet and Violet Eevee database.
If Eevee does not appear, try leaving and re-entering the nearby town boundary to refresh the Pokémon around you, then check the surrounding fields again. This can give you another chance at an encounter, but it does not guarantee Eevee will spawn.
Serebii also lists a fixed Eevee encounter in South Province Area Five, as well as three-star and five-star Tera Raid encounters. These are additional possibilities to check, not a guarantee that Eevee will be available at any particular time or in every player’s game state.

How to evolve Eevee into each of its eight forms
Choose the evolution method that matches the form you want. The five stone evolutions happen by using the listed stone on Eevee. The other three require friendship and a level-up, with day, night, or move requirements determining the result.

How to get Eevee’s evolution stones
Thunder, Fire, Water, and Leaf Stones
Delibird Presents sells Thunder Stones and Fire Stones for 3,000 Poké Dollars each after you earn your third Gym badge. Water Stones become permanent shop stock after the third Gym badge. Ice Stones
Ice Stones can appear as random items on Glaseado Mountain, including northeast of Montenevera Gym. Because these are random pickups rather than guaranteed items, check the area again later if you do not find one. Nintendo Life notes that leaving and returning to an area can refresh scattered random items.
Check the condition before leveling Eevee
If you want Espeon or Umbreon, confirm Eevee does not know a Fairy-type move before it levels up. A Fairy-type move is part of Sylveon’s evolution condition, so an Eevee with the right friendship and a Fairy-type move can evolve into Sylveon instead. For Espeon and Umbreon, the time of the level-up matters: day for Espeon and night for Umbreon.

- Only one code for a Hisuian Zoroark can be used in either the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game. Upon purchase of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, an email with your code will be sent to the email address registered to your Nintendo Account. From the in-game menu, go to the Poké Portal, then select Mystery Gift, select Get with Code/Password, and then enter your code.
- The Mystery Gift option can be found within the Poké Portal menu option in the X menu after you unlock the feature in the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game. (This occurs after about 1 to 1.5 hours of gameplay, though individual gameplay time may vary.) An internet connection and a Nintendo Account is required to redeem the item in game. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required. Each item can only be redeemed once.
Are special Eevee raids or outbreaks available?
Pokémon’s seven-star Eevee raids and Eevee mass outbreaks ran from November 16 through November 20, 2023, and are expired events, not regular catch methods. The official event announcement said participation required current Poké Portal News. For ordinary play, search the wild encounter areas or check the other encounters listed above.
