Celestial Guardians was the name of Pokémon TCG Pocket’s A3 expansion, released worldwide on April 30, 2025. The available coverage establishes an announcement and release, not a verified leak: it does not identify a leak source or authenticate material that appeared before the announcement.
Was Pokémon TCG Pocket’s A3 set leaked?
Not on the evidence available here. The reviewed reports describe Celestial Guardians as announced on April 24, 2025, then released on April 30. They do not establish that the set’s name, cards, or other details were leaked before the announcement. Calling it “leaked” therefore goes beyond what those sources verify.
PokéBeach reported that A3 was the set’s codename and described Celestial Guardians as Pokémon TCG Pocket’s third main-series set. That makes A3 useful shorthand for the set, but it does not prove a leak. PokéBeach’s April 24, 2025 announcement coverage and its April 29 launch coverage report the announcement and launch rather than documenting leak provenance.
What was Celestial Guardians?
It was a digital expansion for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, not a physical Pokémon TCG set established by these sources. The set was themed around Alola and featured Pokémon associated with Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, including Rowlet, Litten, Popplio, Solgaleo, and Lunala. It had two digital booster-pack variants, named for Solgaleo and Lunala.

The Pokémon Company group’s announcement copy, reproduced by PocketMonsters.net, described it as “the latest expansion for Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket” and said it would be available worldwide beginning April 30, 2025. The same copy gave a release time of April 29 at 11:00 p.m. PDT; that is compatible with an April 30 date in other time zones. PocketMonsters.net’s April 24 reproduction of the announcement attributes that language to The Pokémon Company group.
How many cards were in the set?
PokéBeach’s April 29, 2025 launch report gave the total as 239 cards. Its earlier April 24 preview had described the set as having “over 200” cards; that was a rounded preview figure, not a competing final count. The current Pokémon TCG Pocket set index also lists 239 cards.

The launch coverage highlighted immersive Trainer cards featuring Lillie and Guzma. The earlier preview had specifically said Lillie would be the first immersive Supporter card. These are descriptions of in-game cards, not physical products.

PokéBeach’s April 29 launch report also described Rowlet-themed accessories and Lillie cosmetics as in-game items. It reported a launch-era cost of 115 Poké Gold for the cosmetics; that figure describes the reported in-game price at launch, not a current price.

The sources establish the expansion’s theme, digital packs, cards, and some in-game items. They do not establish a physical A3 booster product, nor do they provide a substantiated comparison of the Solgaleo and Lunala packs’ pull rates, card values, or competitive strength. The set’s card count is not evidence of sales, downloads, or popularity.
