Pokémon has confirmed that a new Pokémon TCG Pocket series is coming in October 2026, but it has not named the series or announced its release date or complete card list. The official teaser does confirm two details: dual-type Pokémon will appear for the first time, and Basic Pokémon will continue to appear as Pokémon ex. Specific expansion names, cards, and dates circulating as leaks remain unverified unless Pokémon confirms them.
When is the next Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion?
The latest specific expansion date Pokémon announced was for Deluxe Pack: Mega: September 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. PDT. That date has passed. Pokémon’s next forward-looking notice says a new series is coming in October 2026, but does not give a day or time.
Dates can differ by region because of time zones. Pokémon’s Traditional Chinese regional news index lists Deluxe Pack: Mega as September 30, consistent with the US date of September 29 at 6:00 p.m. PDT. Use the date and time zone published for your region rather than treating the calendar date as universal.
What is confirmed about the October series?
The verified Pokémon Asia ENG trailer description, published August 28, 2026, says, “A new series is coming in October 2026!” It also confirms that dual-type Pokémon will appear in Pocket for the first time and that Basic Pokémon will continue to appear as Pokémon ex. The trailer does not name the series or provide a full card list or precise launch date.

The useful distinction is between the October series teaser—which confirms the month and two gameplay-related card details—and claims that go beyond it. A leak may turn out to be accurate, but until an official announcement corroborates it, it should not be presented as confirmed information.
