The latest specifically dated expansion in The Pokémon Company’s announcement was Deluxe Pack: Mega. Announced September 24, it was scheduled to launch on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. PDT. That release date has passed. The Pokémon Company’s announcement gives the name and timing.
Is a new expansion coming next week?
That timing is not established by the official material reviewed. The Pokémon TCG Pocket site announced that a new series would start in October 2026, but did not identify a specific expansion or a day for its arrival. An October series notice is not confirmation that an expansion will launch the week after October 8. The official Pocket site is the source for the October notice.
Because “next week” depends on the publication date, the September 29 launch cannot support that claim as of October 8. Until The Pokémon Company publishes a specific name and date for the October series, the next release timing remains unspecified.

What kind of release is Pokémon TCG Pocket?
Pocket is a mobile game, not the tabletop Pokémon Trading Card Game. Its digital cards and booster packs are accessed through the game, which The Pokémon Company describes as free-to-start with optional in-game purchases and two free booster packs each day. It is available through the App Store and Google Play. The official game page describes the app and its model.
Physical Pokémon TCG products are separate. The company’s October roundup covers tabletop releases, including the 30th Celebration set; those physical products are not Pocket expansions. The Pokémon Company’s news page lists its physical-product coverage.
