Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Advance Ticket did not unlock a special card or a separate event. According to an October 2025 report by ComicBook.com, it automatically entered holders into a drawing for Pack Hourglasses. The drawing ended in January 2026, and the reported 24-hourglass reward for non-winners matched the amount given to players without a ticket—an outcome at least one player criticized as disappointing.
What was the Pokémon TCG Pocket Advance Ticket for?
The ticket’s purpose was an automatic entry into an Advance Ticket Drawing for Pack Hourglasses, rather than access to a hidden card or special in-game event, according to ComicBook.com’s October 29, 2025 report. Players did not need to activate it for a separate reward action, the report said.
Pokémon Support’s Gameplay FAQ answers “How do I use the advance ticket?” by directing players to the in-game News item “About Advance Tickets,” posted October 30, 2025, at 6:00 a.m. UTC. The FAQ does not reproduce the announcement’s full terms. Read the Pokémon Support Gameplay FAQ.
What rewards did the drawing reportedly offer?
The prize amounts and winner counts below come from ComicBook.com’s report; they are not independently confirmed here against the complete in-game announcement.

| Reported outcome | Pack Hourglasses | Reported recipients |
|---|---|---|
| First prize | 1,200 | 100 winners |
| Second prize | 120 | 10,000 winners |
| Remaining tier | 24 | Other ticket holders, as reported |
| No Advance Ticket | 24 | Players without a ticket, as reported |
That last comparison helps explain the criticism: a ticket holder who did not land one of the larger reported prizes received the same 24 Pack Hourglasses as a player without a ticket. The report does not establish how many tickets were distributed or the odds of winning either larger tier.
Why did some players find the reward underwhelming?
In a November 2025 post on the Pokémon community forums, member hylozoe wrote, “I found the rewards for the advance ticket at the end of October rather disappointing.” The complaint focused on the lottery structure: most ticket holders had no distinct benefit if they received the same 24-hourglass amount reportedly given to people without tickets. The poster suggested either a flatter distribution or a guaranteed smaller reward for ticket holders who did not win.

When did the drawing run, and can players still enter?
ComicBook.com reported that the drawing opened October 29, 2025, at 11:00 p.m. PDT and closed January 28, 2026, at 9:59 p.m. PST. It is no longer active, so there is no current entry action for players to take.
