When did Mythical Island release in Pokémon TCG Pocket?
The companies announced that Mythical Island would become playable on December 17, 2024. The phrase “coming next week” referred to the period immediately after their December 12 announcement; it is not a current release notice. Pokémon’s official news listing continued to include game updates in 2026, placing the Mythical Island announcement in the game’s history rather than its current release schedule (official Pokémon news).
What was included in the Mythical Island update?
Mythical Island was a digital expansion inside Pokémon TCG Pocket, not a newly announced physical Pokémon TCG set. The announcement highlighted new card illustrations featuring Pokémon including the Mythical Pokémon Mew, as well as binder and display-board covers depicting the island. Players could collect its cards in the app by opening booster packs or using Wonder Pick (DeNA’s December 12, 2024 announcement).
What did the 60 million download milestone mean?
