They are new to the game’s roster—not newly created Eeveelutions. The Pokémon UNITE announcement does not announce a new Pokémon species.
What is coming to Pokémon UNITE on October 13?
In an announcement published September 30, 2026, the official Pokémon UNITE Asia website said Jolteon and Flareon would join battles from 4:00 PM on October 13. The Eevee Festival also begins at 4:00 PM that day. The event window listed on the Asia site runs from October 13 at 4:00 PM through December 1 at 8:59 AM JST. Read the Pokémon UNITE announcement.
The notice gives each Pokémon a game role: Jolteon is a Speedster, while Flareon is an All-Rounder. Those are Pokémon UNITE classifications, not claims about new species or changes to the main-series Pokédex.
Are these new Eeveelutions?
No. Jolteon and Flareon are established Eevee evolutions. The announcement is about their arrival in Pokémon UNITE, not a franchise-wide reveal of new species.

The official US Pokédex page for Eevee lists eight evolutions: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon. That is the list shown on the page reviewed; it is not a prediction about whether Pokémon might introduce another evolution in the future. See Eevee’s official Pokédex entry.
What is the Eevee Festival?
The Pokémon UNITE notice describes the festival as an in-game celebration, including the Eevee Appeal-o-rama quick battle. In that mode, each teammate can choose a different Eevee evolution for a special effect. The feature is a game mode built around existing evolutions, rather than evidence of a new species announcement.

Two official announcements describe Eevee-themed collectibles, but neither is evidence of a new evolution. It said the set was available for preorder through LEGO.com/Pokemon and Pokémon Center, with purchase beginning February 27, 2026; that announcement does not establish current Amazon stock or pricing.
