The Porsche Xbox Series X consoles were a 2023 giveaway, not a retail release. Porsche and Xbox created six custom console-and-controller designs inspired by Porsche racing liveries, with a total of 75 sets worldwide offered through a sweepstakes. That promotion ended on 1 October 2023, so there is no official store release described by the companies.
What was the Porsche Xbox collaboration?
In 2023, Porsche and Xbox marked Porsche’s 75th anniversary with custom Xbox Series X consoles and matching Xbox Wireless Controllers. Each design translated a Porsche motorsport livery onto the hardware. Xbox explicitly said the designs were “not for retail”; Porsche later specified that the collection comprised 75 consoles worldwide, available through sweepstakes. Porsche’s June 2023 announcement and its August gamescom follow-up describe the collaboration.
The giveaway was open to fans in the United States, United Kingdom and Germany. The published sweepstakes period ran from 8 June through 1 October 2023. Porsche also said six additional gamescom visitors had a chance to take home individually designed consoles. Xbox Wire’s announcement likewise identifies the collection as not for retail.
What are the six Porsche Xbox liveries?
Porsche’s announcement names six designs. Its descriptions connect each to a race car or anniversary theme; the historical notes below reflect Porsche’s account.

Can you buy a Porsche Xbox Series X now?
There was no standard retail purchase route: the collection was giveaway-only, and the official sweepstakes ended in 2023. Porsche’s gaming guide, updated 27 July 2026, still describes the collaboration as 75 custom-designed Series X consoles and controllers; it does not announce a later retail release.

A console offered today by an individual seller would be a resale listing, not evidence of current official stock. The cited announcements do not establish present resale prices or verify any specific listing. If considering one, assess whether the seller can show provenance, inspect condition and confirm that the matching controller is included. Check region and power compatibility, seller protections and the total price before committing.
What was the Forza Horizon 5 connection?
The console collection was part of a broader Porsche–Xbox relationship around racing games. Porsche says its collaboration with Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios on Porsche and Forza co-branded elements dates to 2005. At gamescom in August 2023, Porsche announced that players could access a specially wrapped Taycan 4S and a Porsche 917 wearing the Hippie livery in Forza Horizon 5 starting that day. The game content was a separate tie-in, not a way to obtain one of the physical giveaway consoles.

Porsche’s July 2026 gaming guide continues to list Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport among the racing-game series featuring Porsche cars. That broader game presence should not be confused with an ongoing distribution of the 2023 anniversary console.

The anniversary collection changed the appearance of Series X consoles and controllers; it was not described as a different hardware specification or a separate consumer edition. Someone who wants an Xbox for playing games should distinguish the giveaway designs from standard retail Xbox Series X hardware. Someone pursuing a collector unit should treat it as a second-hand collectible and verify the specific console and accessories with the seller.
