That is a community-reported lead—not an official coordinate, a guaranteed spawn, or a complete list. Activision confirms that Return to Verdansk placed multiple Hidden Safes in each zone but does not publish Prison-specific positions.
Where to look for the reported Prison safe
Start outside the Prison’s southeast/back side and follow the waterline. Check a little left of the zipline, the landmark given in the community report. The report does not provide a map coordinate or establish that the safe appears there every match, so treat it as a place to search rather than a fixed spawn.
Activision calls the location the Zordaya Prison Complex. On the Season 03 Verdansk layout, the shoreline route extends east toward Prison, marsh trenches lie to the southeast, and switchback paths run through the Prison grounds above Bunker 09. These features can help you orient yourself, but Activision’s map description does not identify safe locations. Activision’s Verdansk map guide
Is this a complete list of Prison safe spawns?
No complete Prison spawn list is established by the available sources. Activision’s Return to Verdansk event instructions say there are multiple Hidden Safes in each zone and that squads can open as many as they find, but they do not give a Prison total or coordinates. What happens when you open a Hidden Safe?
Opening a Hidden Safe creates an explosive signal that opposing teams can see, so the search can reveal your position. Each individual safe can be opened only once per match; squads may open multiple different safes if they find them. Consider whether the reward is worth drawing attention before interacting. Activision’s event guide describes these rules; it does not say how many safes spawn at Prison.

Which Verdansk version does this location apply to?
The location report belongs to the 2025 Return to Verdansk event period. Activision’s map tour is dated March 26, 2025, and says Verdansk returned on April 3, 2025. That history does not establish that the event or the reported spawn is available in the current game build. Check that the event and its Hidden Safes are active in your version before searching; the reported position should be treated as version-specific until confirmed in-game.
