The four games in the September 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup were available to add through Monday, October 5—not October 6. As of October 7, Sony’s published claim window has passed. October 6 was the start of the next monthly lineup.
Which four PS Plus games were available?
Sony’s September lineup comprised these games:
- Sniper Elite: Resistance (PS5, PS4): a tactical third-person stealth and sniping game with a co-op campaign, Axis Invasion, competitive multiplayer, and Survival mode.
- MLB The Show 26 (PS5): a baseball game featuring career play in Road To The Show and team-building in Diamond Dynasty.
- Wobbly Life (PS5, PS4): an open-world sandbox with solo, online, and local split-screen play, mini-games, and story missions.
- Chained Echoes (PS4): a single-player, story-driven JRPG set in a fantasy world.

Why October 6 is being confused with the deadline
October 6 was the launch date for October’s separate PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup, not the final day to add September’s four games. Sony announced three October games, available October 6 through November 2, 2026:
- F1 25
- Hunt: Showdown 1896
- Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2

Can you still add the September games?
Sony’s announced claim window ended October 5. That establishes the published deadline, but not whether a particular account or regional PlayStation Store might still show an item afterward. Sony notes that monthly lineups can vary by region and directs members to check their local PlayStation Store on release day; account-specific availability should be checked there.
PlayStation Plus is a recurring subscription service, so these games are not unconditional freebies. Sony’s September announcement states that a recurring subscription fee applies. The same announcement separately listed a PlayStation Plus Jump Start Bundle for MLB The Show 26 through October 6; that in-game bundle date is not the monthly-games claim deadline.
