How to decide which purchase suits you
Count the games you actually want
If you want several titles from the announced 12-game lineup, the collection brings those games together. If you are interested in just one or a few, compare the individual listings for your platform and their current local prices rather than assuming a bundle is better value.
Check your existing library
Compare your owned games with the full 12-title lineup before buying the collection. The available announcements and catalog listings do not establish cross-version entitlements or automatic upgrades, so do not assume an existing Switch or PS4 purchase carries over to a Switch 2 or PS5 version.

Match the release to your platform
Psikyo Memories is announced for Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5. The separate-release examples in City Connection’s catalogs are for Switch and PS4. Check the product page for the exact platform and edition you plan to buy; the listings do not establish that a previous-generation purchase includes a newer version.
Decide whether the extras are worth it to you
The collection announcement confirms a historical-materials gallery, and the Japanese special edition adds physical collector items. If either is a reason to buy, verify the product page for your region: the announcement does not establish that the same special edition or contents will be distributed worldwide.

Verify region, language, and current availability
The announced date and prices are for Japan. The sources do not establish worldwide release timing, regional pricing, language options, physical distribution in other regions, or live retailer stock. Check a current local store or publisher listing for those details before ordering. The available information also does not resolve how Japanese versions compare with English releases in language or other edition differences.
Do not choose on unverified technical claims
The available announcements and catalogs do not compare performance, input latency, emulation, display options, or save features between the collection and individual releases. There is not enough evidence here to call either route technically better.
