Short answer: PUBG MOBILE 1.3 Beta was an early-2021 test build and is not a supported download in 2026. The stable 1.3 update began rolling out on March 9, 2021, and later versions replaced it. Treat surviving APK, OBB, IPA, or configuration-profile links as unverified and potentially unsafe; use the current PUBG MOBILE listing from the official app store or PUBG MOBILE website instead.
The beta remains useful as a historical record of features such as Hundred Rhythms, Karakin, the Motor Glider, Mosin-Nagant, Panzerfaust, and Metro Royale: Uncover.

What the 1.3 update added
Hundred Rhythms
Hundred Rhythms was a limited Erangel-themed mode built around a Music Armband. Players chose one of three armband types and collected cassettes to unlock active and passive abilities. It was a temporary themed mode, not a permanent replacement for standard Erangel.

Karakin and its destruction mechanics
Karakin is a desert map on the North African coast. Official notes describe 4 square kilometers and matches of up to 64 players, with open rocky terrain, mountain fights, urban combat, underground areas, and destructible buildings. Some older coverage called it 2×2 kilometers; that conflicts with the official 4-square-kilometer description.
The map introduced the Demolition Zone, where structures could be damaged or destroyed during a match, plus Sticky Bombs for opening routes or attacking players behind cover. Thin-wall penetration and underground spaces were map-specific mechanics, not universal changes to every map. Vikendi was temporarily removed from Classic Mode when Karakin was introduced.
Mosin-Nagant
The Mosin-Nagant is a 7.62mm bolt-action sniper rifle comparable in power to the Kar98K. It appeared on Erangel and Vikendi and replaced some Kar98K spawns rather than simply being added everywhere. The announcement described the possibility of a one-shot elimination against an unarmored enemy under stated conditions; actual damage still depends on hit location, armor, distance, and game rules.
Motor Glider
This two-seat vehicle spawned randomly on Erangel and Miramar. The pilot sits in front and the passenger behind can shoot. The glider needs enough speed before the pilot can raise the nose and take off, and fuel consumption increases at higher engine speed.

The Panzerfaust was a limited-availability launcher with zeroing options of 60, 100, or 150 meters. Its backblast and explosive effect made checking for walls and teammates behind the shooter essential; it was not an unlimited, standard weapon available in every situation.

Metro Royale: Uncover
The new Metro Royale chapter reset honor, rankings, and inventory at the chapter start and added rewards, elite enemies, smarter opponents, and equipment-balance changes. Metro Exodus monsters and the Tikhar Rifle were removed.
Clowns’ Tricks and later event content
Clowns’ Tricks was an anniversary activity scheduled for March 31, not part of the initial March 9 rollout. It used Clown Shops and Clown Tokens to provide strategic information and graffiti-related features.
Performance and stability work
The official update also listed rendering, crash, and performance improvements. Those were changes for the 2021 release and do not guarantee that an old beta will run on a current phone.

Players on different versions could not team together during the 2021 rollout, according to the official regional notice. That was a historical compatibility rule, not a promise about current matchmaking.

Android installation history—and why not to repeat it now
Contemporary guides described separate x64 and x32 APK files, with additional OBB or game data when requested. The historical workflow was:
- Choose the APK architecture matching the device.
- If Android blocked installation, allow the specific browser or file manager to install unknown apps.
- Install the APK and any accompanying data package.
- Launch the beta and sign in through the supported test account method.
- Use in-game reporting tools to submit bugs.
The official 1.3 announcement listed approximately 640 MB for Android and 1.55 GB for iOS. Those were 2021 update figures, not current storage requirements.
Do not treat an old mirror as an official download. A surviving file can be modified, signed with an incompatible key, incomplete, bundled with malware, or unable to connect because beta servers and dependencies are gone.

iPhone and iPad availability
Historical reporting is inconsistent: one article described a Safari and device-trust route, while another said a public iOS link had not yet been provided. Neither establishes a currently working official beta. iOS distribution is more controlled than Android APK distribution; an authentic test build would normally come through an official App Store or Apple TestFlight route.

Do not install an IPA, enterprise certificate, or configuration profile from an unknown site. Certificates can be revoked, profiles can impose unwanted management controls, and an apparent “beta” may be a tampered package. TestFlight builds are also time-limited.
Invitation codes and account access
Some contemporaneous distributions reportedly used invitation or access codes, but requirements varied by build and region. An old code is not proof of access today. Never use code generators, account sellers, modified clients, or tools that ask for your PUBG MOBILE credentials.

Android: “App not installed”
- Conflicting signatures with an existing installation.
- Wrong x32/x64 architecture.
- Insufficient storage or an incomplete package.
- An obsolete signing key or incompatible Android environment.
Android: missing data or no connection
- The APK expects an OBB/data package that is absent or mismatched.
- Beta servers may be closed, or the client may no longer be supported.
- Social login may not work in a retired test environment.
iOS: untrusted developer or expired certificate
- Apple may have revoked the enterprise certificate.
- The profile may belong to an unknown organization.
- The claimed IPA may never have been an official public beta.
Safety checklist
- Install the current game only from the official PUBG MOBILE website or your region’s official app store listing.
- Avoid mod APKs, UC or skin unlockers, “invitation-code generators,” and Telegram or file-hosting links labeled official.
- Do not disable antivirus protections or grant unnecessary SMS, contacts, accessibility, or device-administrator permissions.
- Never enter account credentials into a download portal.
- Do not follow VPN or DNS instructions claiming to revive a discontinued beta.
Is downloading 1.3 Beta worthwhile in 2026?
For ordinary play, no. The beta is several major release generations old, may not connect to live services, and can fail because of expired certificates, incompatible signing, missing dependencies, or account restrictions. The stable 1.3 release already superseded it in March 2021. Download it only as an archival object when you can independently verify provenance and accept that it may not run; for gameplay, use the current official client.

Can PUBG MOBILE 1.3 Beta still play with current players?
No reliable evidence shows that the retired beta can connect to current services. During the 2021 rollout, different client versions could not team together.

Was Karakin 2×2 km or 4 square kilometers?
Official PUBG MOBILE notes describe Karakin as 4 square kilometers. Some older third-party coverage reported 2×2 kilometers, so the figures should not be treated as equivalent.
Was there an official iOS 1.3 beta download?
Historical reports conflict, and no current official iOS 1.3 beta is established. Treat IPA or profile links from unknown sites as unsafe.
What replaced PUBG MOBILE 1.3?
Later PUBG MOBILE releases superseded the 2021 1.3 client. Install the current official version rather than searching for the archived beta.
