How Quordle works
Quordle is a browser word game in which you solve four five-letter grids at once, with up to nine turns. It offers daily puzzles as well as a practice mode.
Quordle hints for game #1264
- The four answers use four different standard vowels: A, E, I and O. Y is not included in this count.
- Two of the answers contain a repeated letter.
- None of the answers contains Q, Z, X or J.
- No two answers start with the same letter.
- In grid order, the starting letters are L, D, F and G.

Why the date can differ by time zone
Quordle’s daily puzzle changes at midnight in each time zone. As TechRadar’s Johnny Dee explained, “A new Quordle puzzle appears at midnight each day for your time zone – which means that some people are always playing ‘today’s game’ while others are playing ‘yesterday’s’.” This page identifies the archived puzzle by its July 11, 2025 label and game number so it is clear which answers it contains.
