Quordle hints for game #1223
These spoiler-light clues apply to the four standard Quordle words:
- The answers use three different standard vowels in total, counting A, E, I, O and U but not Y.
- One answer contains a repeated letter.
- One answer includes Q, Z, X or J.
- The four answers start with different letters: C, E, D and Q.

Why the date may differ by time zone
TechRadar notes that Quordle’s daily puzzle changes at midnight in each player’s time zone. As Johnny Dee put it, “A new Quordle puzzle appears at midnight each day for your time zone – which means that some people are always playing ‘today’s game’ while others are playing ‘yesterday’s’.” That rollover is why the archive label—Saturday, May 31, 2025, game #1223—is more precise than calling it simply “today’s” puzzle.
