The source page was published June 21; Quordle puzzles appear at midnight in each player’s time zone, so the date a player sees can differ around midnight. TechRadar’s June 21, 2025, puzzle page gives the clues and answers.
Quordle hints for game #1245
Use these clues before scrolling to the solutions:
- The four answers collectively use all four standard vowels: A, E, I and O. (The clue excludes Y from its vowel count.)
- One answer contains a repeated letter.
- One answer includes Q, Z, X or J.
- No two answers begin with the same letter.
- The starting letters, in puzzle order, are W, C, P and S.
Classic Quordle answers
WREST, CRAZE, PAPAL, SCION.
The source author said they used all nine guesses. In their account, SCION remained tricky even with all five letters in place, CRAZE was difficult because of its Z, and they tried TRESS for WREST before using their final attempt on PAPAL. That is the author’s reported solving experience, not an independently verified solve.

Why the date may look different
TechRadar describes Quordle’s new puzzles as appearing at midnight in each player’s time zone. Near that boundary, a player’s “today” may refer to the puzzle labeled as the previous date elsewhere. The answers here correspond to game #1245, dated Sunday, June 22, 2025.

Merriam-Webster hosts an official Quordle page, but its contents were not available for checking this archived answer set.
