If you can’t buy R6 Credits or a completed purchase has not appeared in Rainbow Six Siege, first check whether the store actually completed the transaction. For missing credits, Ubisoft says delivery can take up to 24 hours; after that, contact Ubisoft Support with a screenshot of your transaction history and the name of the store you used.
First, identify which R6 Credits problem you have
“Unable to purchase credits” and “purchase has not appeared in your game” are different problems. A failed or declined checkout is not the same as a completed purchase whose credits have not been delivered. The steps—and the evidence you need—depend on which happened.
- Purchase completed: the platform or store shows the order as completed or you received a purchase confirmation, but your in-game balance has not changed.
- Checkout did not complete: the purchase was declined, interrupted, or never produced a completed order in the store’s history.
R6 Credits are sold through the in-game Shop and Ubisoft Store, and can be used in the game’s shop for Operators, gear, weapons, and customisations. Ubisoft’s missing-credit guidance focuses on verifying the transaction and allowing time for delivery.
If your completed purchase is missing
- Check the store that handled the purchase. Review the transaction or order history for the platform or store you used, and look for a purchase confirmation. Ubisoft’s US Terms of Sale say order information may be available in your account or in a confirmation from Ubisoft or the relevant third party.
- Allow up to 24 hours. Ubisoft says it can take up to 24 hours for R6 Credits to be added to your game. Check your in-game balance again after that window.
- Contact Ubisoft Support if they are still missing after 24 hours. Include a screenshot of your transaction history and state which store handled the purchase, as Ubisoft requests in its support instructions.
Do not treat a purchase as complete just because you started checkout. The relevant detail is whether the store’s record shows that the transaction went through.

If you are unable to buy R6 Credits
Start by checking the order history and any confirmation or decline message for the store you used. The available evidence does not establish a single current cause or universal fix for failed R6 Credits purchases across PC, console, and storefronts. If the store shows no completed order, use the support route for that store or platform; if you need Ubisoft’s help, retain the order or decline details when contacting Ubisoft Support.
Historical Steam-specific suggestions
In an August 2021 Steam Community discussion, a Ubisoft Support account suggested enabling or toggling the Steam Overlay, clearing Steam’s browser cache, checking that Steam and Ubisoft account regions match, and avoiding a proxy. The reply also advised waiting 24–48 hours after repeated purchase attempts that might trigger fraud flags, then contacting support if the block continued. This is historical advice for a Steam purchase discussion—not a confirmed current policy or a verified fix for other PC storefronts or consoles. Find the exchange in the Steam Community discussion.

Check live service status before troubleshooting further
Check Ubisoft’s live Rainbow Six Siege status page when you troubleshoot. A status result updated October 5, 2026 showed “No Issues” for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, but that dated snapshot cannot confirm service status on another day. A status check also does not determine whether an individual purchase completed.

- The store or platform used for the purchase.
- Whether its transaction history says completed, declined, or otherwise unresolved.
- The purchase confirmation or decline details, if available.
- For credits still missing after 24 hours, a screenshot of transaction history, which Ubisoft asks players to provide.
Ubisoft’s payment terms note that payment methods may be managed by third parties and can vary by service. For that reason, direct payment or order questions to the store or platform involved rather than assuming every purchase uses the same payment process.
