1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsChoose by shape first: Razer explicitly describes the DeathAdder V3 Pro as a right-handed ergonomic, mid-to-large mouse, while Logitech’s published specifications for the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 emphasize its 60 g weight. The Logitech is lighter on the stated figures; the DeathAdder’s 8000 Hz wireless polling option requires a separately sold HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. Neither mouse is a universal comfort or performance winner—your grip and hand fit matter more than a sensor’s maximum DPI.
DeathAdder V3 Pro vs. PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 at a glance
| Specification | Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro | Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Shape | Right-handed ergonomic; Razer describes it as mid-to-large. Razer product page | Logitech’s cited product page lists dimensions but does not give an equivalent ergonomic designation. Logitech G product page |
| Published weight | Approximately 63 g in black or 64 g in white for the classic-base version, excluding cable. Razer Support specifications | 60 g. Logitech G product page |
| Dimensions | Approximately 128 × 68 × 44 mm. Razer Support specifications | 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm. Logitech G product page |
| Sensor maximum | Focus Pro 30K, up to 30,000 DPI. Razer Support specifications | HERO 2, up to 44,000 DPI. Logitech G product page |

The cited smooth-touch support page says 8000 Hz is unavailable in wired mode. Razer product page Razer Support specifications Razer smooth-touch support page | Up to 8000 Hz. Logitech G product page |
| Published battery claim | Up to 90 hours at 1000 Hz, or up to 17 hours at 8000 Hz. Razer Support specifications | Up to 95 hours in constant motion. Logitech G product page |
These are manufacturer specifications, not results from a controlled head-to-head test. The battery claims use different stated conditions, and the polling-rate figures do not mean the mice reach their maximum settings in the same way.

Which mouse should you choose?
Choose the DeathAdder V3 Pro if its ergonomic shape suits you
Razer identifies the DeathAdder V3 Pro as a right-handed ergonomic mouse and describes it as mid-to-large. That makes it the more clearly documented option if you specifically want an ergonomic contour. It does not guarantee comfort: hand size, grip style and personal preference determine whether the shape works for you.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Choose the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 if low published weight is your priority
Logitech lists the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 at 60 g, compared with approximately 63 g for the black classic-base DeathAdder V3 Pro or 64 g for its white version. That is a 3–4 g difference in the listed figures, not proof of better aim or overall performance. Logitech also lists up to 8000 Hz report rate without the separate Razer accessory described for the DeathAdder.

Try to judge fit before choosing by dimensions alone
The published measurements show the DeathAdder V3 Pro is longer and wider, and Logitech’s mouse is lower in the listed dimensions. Measurements help narrow a choice, but they cannot tell you how either mouse will sit in your hand. If possible, try the exact model or buy from a retailer with a suitable return policy.
Does the Razer need a HyperPolling dongle?
Not for ordinary use at its stated default polling rate of 1000 Hz. Razer says the DeathAdder V3 Pro can reach up to 8000 Hz wirelessly with the separately sold HyperPolling Wireless Dongle. If you do not need that higher wireless rate, the accessory is not required to use the mouse. For the cited smooth-touch version, Razer’s support page says 8000 Hz is not supported in wired mode.

Logitech lists up to 8000 Hz for the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2. A maximum report-rate specification alone does not establish a practical advantage for every player or setup.

Do the DPI and battery numbers make one the better gaming mouse?
DPI maximums are not an aim-quality ranking
Logitech lists up to 44,000 DPI for its HERO 2 sensor; Razer lists 30,000 DPI for Focus Pro 30K. Those figures are sensor ceilings, not evidence that one mouse tracks better or helps you aim more accurately. Choose sensitivity based on what feels controllable in your games rather than treating the largest maximum as a buying verdict.

Battery claims are not directly comparable
Razer’s figures are up to 90 hours at 1000 Hz and up to 17 hours at 8000 Hz. Logitech’s is up to 95 hours in constant motion. Because the manufacturers state different conditions, these numbers do not establish which mouse lasts longer under identical settings and use.
