When did Rematch release?
Rematch released on June 19, 2025. The official release-date announcement gave that date, and the publisher’s launch-day post said the game was out on June 19.
Neither official post states a global launch hour or provides a time-zone table. That means the confirmed answer is the calendar date, not a precise local time. Any specific clock time presented as the official worldwide launch time would go beyond what these announcements establish.
Was Rematch on Game Pass at launch?
Yes. In its June 17, 2025 announcement, Xbox listed Rematch for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on June 19, with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Xbox described it as “Available on day one with Game Pass!” (Xbox Wire announcement).

The publisher’s June 13, 2025 editions and regional pricing post also said the Standard Edition would be included with Game Pass PC and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at launch. Subscribers could purchase upgrades to the Pro or Elite Edition. Those are launch-period terms, not a guarantee of what every subscription includes today.
What does the Xbox Store listing say now?
The current Xbox Store listing describes Rematch as cloud playable with Game Pass Essential, Premium, and Ultimate. It also says a purchase is required to stream with Essential. This is a cloud-streaming detail; it should not be read as proof that the game is included for download or installation with every listed tier.
