It returns to Yaesha with a new storyline centered on the lost tribe and Lydusa, an ancient stone spirit, and adds the Invoker Archetype, new dungeons, equipment, bosses, characters, and creatures. It is DLC, not a standalone game, and Steam explicitly requires the Remnant II base game. The available product information establishes what it offers, but not whether its story, encounters, or value justify a purchase for a particular player.
What does The Forgotten Kingdom add?
Arc Games describes the expansion as a new storyline set in Yaesha, focused on uncovering the history of a lost tribe and confronting Lydusa. Its announced additions include a new area and dungeons, the Invoker Archetype, weapons and modifications, amulets and rings, plus new bosses, characters, and creatures. These are publisher and storefront feature descriptions, not an independent assessment of how substantial or enjoyable the content is. Arc Games’ announcement, Steam listing, and PlayStation Store listing describe the expansion.

The Invoker Archetype
The Invoker is the expansion’s named Archetype addition. The listings identify it as part of the Yaesha content, but do not establish how it changes build choices in practice or how it compares with other Archetypes.
What this means for a review
The announced feature list answers what is included, not how well it works. The available information does not establish story length, dungeon quality, combat or boss-design quality, equipment usefulness, difficulty, or technical performance. Without firsthand gameplay evidence, those points cannot support a firm verdict on the expansion’s moment-to-moment quality.

Is The Forgotten Kingdom worth it?
It is a plausible fit if you already own Remnant II and specifically want another Yaesha storyline, the Invoker, and the other listed additions. The feature list alone cannot establish whether the expansion is worth its current price or whether its encounters and equipment will appeal to you. Check the live price in your region and weigh the advertised content against what you want from another DLC; the $9.99 figure in Arc Games’ announcement was the April 2024 launch price, not a confirmed current price.
Do you need Remnant II to play The Forgotten Kingdom?
Yes. Steam classifies the product as downloadable content and says the Remnant II base game is required. Before buying, confirm that you own the base game on the platform where you intend to play; do not assume that an edition or DLC purchase on one platform grants access on another.

How to choose between the DLC and the bundle
There are two main purchase paths: the standalone Yaesha expansion or a bundle that includes all three DLCs. Compare current local prices and check the entitlement details on the storefront for your platform before choosing.

| Three-DLC bundle | Arc Games announced a $24.99 launch bundle in April 2024 containing The Awakened King, The Forgotten Kingdom, and access to the then-future final DLC. The Epic Games Store bundle page lists The Awakened King (Losomn, Ritualist), The Forgotten Kingdom (Yaesha, Invoker), and The Dark Horizon (N’Erud, Warden).
