GamingNerd’s May 12 analysis likewise said Capcom had confirmed neither Resident Evil 10, the “Project Redlife” codename nor any protagonist.

A long-requested legacy lead

What Capcom has officially established
Capcom’s 2025 investor report identifies Resident Evil Requiem as the latest installment and names FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft as its protagonist. The report also says the Resident Evil series has sold more than 170 million units. Those are confirmed statements about the franchise’s current published record, not evidence that Claire leads the next game.

How to read future RE10 updates
- Look for Capcom’s own announcement. A showcase, press release or official product page would establish the game and its title more firmly than an unattributed roadmap.
- Separate character claims from game confirmation. Even if Claire appears in a leak, that does not prove she is the lead, or that the project described is real.
- Check provenance. Repeated references to a leaker are not confirmation, particularly after the reported denial of Dusk Golem’s involvement.
- Wait for concrete details. A release window, platforms, footage, credits or a playable demonstration would provide stronger evidence than codename speculation.
Where Claire’s established story can be revisited
Players who want context for Claire can revisit the Resident Evil 2 remake, the major modern game associated with her earlier story.
