The three combinations and rewards are cross-checked in the Steam-hosted code guide and Vandal’s safe guide. The reported codes stay the same across Leon and Claire and between New Game and 2nd Run.
How to enter a dial safe combination
- Turn the dial left to the first number.
- Turn it right to the second number.
- Turn it left to the third number, then confirm to open the safe.
Follow the stated directions rather than treating the three numbers as an undirected code.

What are the letter lock combinations?
Letter locks are separate from the numbered dial safes. Enter these codes at the matching location:

The initials on Leon’s desk refer to coworkers’ first names. The North-side combination’s missing name is resolved by trying the remaining option, as described in the Steam-hosted guide. The locker codes are also listed by PC Gamer and Push Square.

Why portable safes have no fixed code
Portable safes use randomized button sequences, so a universal combination will not open them. Press the buttons to discover and complete the sequence, following the counter-clockwise order described in the Steam-hosted guide.
Their locations vary by playthrough:
- Playthrough A: Shower Room, 2F, and Linen Room, 2F.
- Playthrough B: Interrogation Room, 1F, and Linen Room, 2F.
Opening both portable safes provides replacement keys for the Safety Deposit Room keypad.
